Can I still use old Ardboys?

I’ve got an old start collecting box from before Ardboys were changed. I know they’re physically smaller but I can’t remember if the base size is the same or not.

If I can’t, I’ll just start a new army. It’s been so long that it’s not too much of a financial loss, and just start a different army

And I know it would still depend on the opponent but I’m asking in an everyday situation could I use these in a game.

I don’t want to bother painting them if I won’t get to use them. They’re assembled but not painted.
