Are you slow and meticulous or fast and messy?

The thing I notice a lot about people with ADHD that they are often very fast, jumping from one task to another, chaotic and messy. I am on the other hand a slow perfectionist. This is why I had a hard time identifying myself as having ADHD for so long and getting diagnosed.

I do struggle with executive functioning greatly, and spend a lot of times trying to organize myself, often rejecting the system I worked on. But when I do the thing, I do it meticulously and most of the time without error, but extremely slowly. Even everyday housework things take twice as much time for me as for my NT husband. Of course I do get distracted, but even when I don't, I am still very slow. Does anyone relate? Can an ADHD person be a perfectionist?
