Food addiction

Hey fellow ADHD people :)

it’s normal to think about food or overeat once in a while but i guess I accidentally have food now as a stimming tool. Which is absolutely not cool and I could eat till my belly erupts when I’m stressed etc.

Do you experience the same, or experienced similar and could u replaced food with something? Sometimes it feels like food is the only thing that’s holding me together and the only thing that’s stable in my life and I can rely on (okay that sounds now pretty dramatic, but I guess it’s the exact feeling)
