Tips/Tricks/Hacks for Vegas trip to see Adele

I just got back from seeing the 1/28 show and this group was a HUGE help in having an amazing trip! I thought I would aggregate some of the great tips I got in hopes of helping others:

Gift Shop: if you are able go on Friday when it opens up. I was able to get my poster no issue and they were sold out by Saturday early afternoon. They also sold out of one of the long sleeve shirts.

Also: touch the PJs and robe!!!

If you get a poster: bring a packing tube to transport it but know the posters are THICK! I thought the tube I brought would be big enough for mine and my sisters’ but we could only get two in (and it was a big tube!) we ended up using the disposable cups in our room to help protect the ends of the 3rd one when traveling.

Confetti: I was in section 401 so just know it can be slow going making it to the first floor. I went to the 101 entrance door and the usher didn’t bat an eye when I entered. There were other people getting some confetti but a lot more people were taking photos, so I had to navigate around them.

I was there for maybe 6 minutes when the ushers started telling people they had to leave. To maximize your time grab what you can and sort it later! The pictures are obvious as they are the only pieces that size.

If you can, bring some kind of small bag/container to put the confetti in until you get out. I have clammy hands but luckily none of the pieces got messed up (but could have) PRO TIP: the card holder they give you your hotel card in at checkin makes a perfect size folder for the hearts and Polaroids when traveling back home.

Besides looking on the ground look at seats (especially the middle ones that are like long couches) I got a lot of pieces that way that weren’t damaged.

Accommodations: we stayed at the Flamingo and it was a great location. It’s an easy walk to CVS and Walgreens and has an entrance on the Linq Promenade with lots of places to eat/drink/get some dessert. It’s also a straight shot to Caesars Palace and the Theater.

Gambling: I’m from Oklahoma/North Texas so have easy access to casinos. Plus our casinos have free soda/tea/coffee that you can refill yourself. If you get a fountain drink at the Food Court area in Caesars you can get refills since they have self serve stations.

Other things to see: if it fits in your schedule/budget and you are interested I highly suggest seeing RuPauls Drag Race Live at the Flamingo and Princess Diana exhibit at the Crystal shops. Spend the extra few dollars for the VIP ticket for the Diana exhibit: you get the audio guide and a nice tumbler souvenir
