Virtual shifting option gone

So I got my kickr core Zwift one today and I’ve already hit a problem. In the settings menu there isn’t an option under preferences for “virtual shifting” like there’s supposed to be according to the demo video on YouTube. When trying to ride routes or workouts virtual shifting doesn’t seem to be an option despite having the clicker mounted and connected.

I’m on Mac and using Bluetooth and the companion app (no ANT+ or dongle of any kind) so can’t figure out how to get it all working like it should.

Any ideas?
