Those e-vouchers are real!

I'm on a High Deductible Health Plan and was worried about the new year. When I started Zepbound last May, I filled my scripts through CVS and had to pay like $1300ish out of pocket for the first couple of months due to my high deductible, and now that the new year is here, I was worried I'd have to do it again.

Then I read about the e-vouchers and people filling from Walmart. I decided to try and fill mine at Costco and I just picked up my first dose for $29.99. And my insurance is showing that I paid $688 towards my deductible! This is awesome. I don't really know how or why it works, but I'm just glad not to have to pay out of pocket.

I was a bit nervous when I called to transfer my prescription because the Costco pharm tech I spoke to didn't know anything about the vouchers and wanted to make sure I'd be able to afford the hundreds of dollars for the meds, but I had her do it anyway since I figured it didn't matter. Pay for it there or at CVS, and it would be the same, but then a day later, I got the text saying it had been filled and at the lower price.

Edit: Apparently you can look up who participates in the voucher program here: https://evoucherrx.relayhealth.com/StoreLookup. Thanks to u/ramguy82
