YouTube Music SUCKS more now (January 2023)

It's the middle of January 2023 and YouTube music updated silently in the background. Prior to said update YouTube music had a pretty crappy recent section before in my opinion it was tucked too far into the app and really wasn't a recently played ordeal. This is coming from an ex Google play music user as well as a Spotify user. It's already well known that Google doesn't really give a crap about the YouTube music app as it does nothing to compete with other major music app in terms of features and setup.

My biggest issue is I feel like most people want to listen to the music that they just listen to the day prior or even hours prior. As it stands currently you have to dig through about six to seven clicks before you can get to some version of a recently played

In my opinion the first thing that you should see when you open your app is recently played. I personally would almost never want a mixed for you option as my first choice. After my recently played the next best option is new songs from artists that I like and have spent time listening to.

I m o I think that there are a large number of app changes that could be made to make the user experience very good if not the best. Currently the app has from my counting over 30 issues that make listening to music unsatisfying and sometimes frustrating. But at its simplest I would just like to open the app and listen to the music that I recently listened to. Nine times out of 10 I'm hopping in the car and just want to hit play.

Honestly I'm really hoping to open a discussion about this in hopes that maybe one day though put some effort in it to changing it.
