Why do Yorkies hide things in plain sight?

This is not the first time, nor the first one who has done this… they take an interminable time to walk around the house with the treat in their mouth , then finish by hiding it out in plain sight! Do they think no one sees it, or that it has an invisibility cloak spun by their magic saliva? 😂😂😂 always cracks me up
