Is Disneyland & Xcaret too much?

I am in the process of planning a big once in a lifetime type vacation. We are planning 5-6 days at Disneyland and I was originally thinking then doing 7-10 days in Hawaii — but then I stumbled onto Xcaret! Has anyone done anything similar? Is a week at Xcaret too much or not enough?

We are a family 2 adults 2 kids 16 & 6(she will be 7 when we go) my husband and kids are very adventurous — I plan on sitting back at the pool 🤣 or in the jump river suite!
