Upgrading Stereo -possible?

Hello searching for a used xc40. Limited as want something with the upgraded Harmon Kardon or B&G sound system.

Is it possible to upgrade easily? I know the computers can be picky. Anyone done upgraded? With what? Cost? Just looking for something that might be equivalent of the better factory sound system.
