Suggestion for the Japanese MT line
The main reason of the suggestion is to simply bring the playstyle of the tier 9 and 10 in-line with each other.
Chi-Ri is arguably good in tier 7 as it is and shouldn't really change. I thoroughly enjoyed the tank and it would be good for it to lead into the Ho-Ri tanks that are based off it. Though I do recognize that, with the exception of the KV-2, WG have effectively removed lines crossing over in the name of "simplifying" the techtrees.

I will be honest, I have a hate relationship with the STA-1 and Type 61. Both can very easily be dropped to tier 7 and 8 respectively without touching armour or mobility and purely adjusting what guns they have access to and maybe mobility soft stats.

The STB-1 would drop to tier 9 and get the current Type 61 weapons. The biggest thing would be a reduction in turret armour and gun stats to suit tier 9.
I've also suggested the addition of the STB-3 turret which is identical to the Typ74's, just with less armour. The main visual difference between it and the STB-1 turret is the commanders cupola with the 3's being what would be on the Type 74, refer to below images The cupola on the STB-3/Type 74 is similar to that which is on the tier 10 HT, Type 71 in-game.

STB-1 for reference against STB-3
STB-3 for reference against STB-1

At tier 10, the new Type 74 would simply get the current STB-1 stats.
Type 74 Mod C or D would offer visual distinction against the STB
