WordPress security

As someone who has my company website on WordPress and it’s growing I have one question - how security is it? Will I have eventually worry about user safety and website security since it heavily relies on security plugins like Wordfence? Or is it better to change to something else now like python etc. We do film production, and streaming. No issues with site performance but I worry about future security.
