nexplanon implant (arm) bleeding

hi, i’m a 17f i got the contraceptive implant which is coming up to 2 years now of having it, at the end of December. the first year everything was fine, even great. i had no implications except for slight cramping every now and again which was normal considering i used to get bad period cramps

after a year and a bit after no complications i started to have issues. the first ones was whenever i urinated it would burn after for quite awhile but it wasn’t a full burning feeling just mainly uncomfortable and super annoying. this continued to happen for a a month or 2. i went and got checked for any type of std obviously and everything was all clear. problem was just ruled out to be a uti until i got checked for that and there was nothing. so now im confused to what’s happening..

after a month or 2 of annoying uncomfortableness i randomly started spotting after a year and a bit of not getting a period. it started with just a little bit of old blood. i dismissed it until it started happening a few times a month but only for like a day. then i started spotting for a couple days at a time. it went away for a month again. without any bleeding or spotting at all.

then at the end of september i got a “period” but the thing is i haven’t stopped my period since. since the end of september ive had a period. i get about a 3-4 day break of no bleeding and then have a period for about 6-7 days. then a break then another period. sometimes the breaks can only be a day then i will start bleeding again.. the periods can differ from heavy to really light. i’ve been to the doctors and they just act clueless telling me to try a different contraceptive option. they also just tell me to wait it out which is frustrating.

i’m just wondering if anyone has had this problem or something similar while on the implantation and if anyone knows if this is (actually) a side effect or not normal at all…
