Abandoned boy, can't figure out what he is?

Pitbull? Staffy? Bulldog? St Bernard? We have no idea. He's got a lovely temperament in spite of all he's been through. Was wondering if anyone more knowledgeable could give us a hand in identifying his breed(s).
