Best website builder and hosting platform

Hello! This might be abit too technical of a Reddit for this question, please remove if it's not relevant. My brother is looking to create a website for his new business and I recommended website builders and hosting platforms like ionos, wix, shopify. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these and could recommend which ones are good/which to avoid. The business is a plant nursery so online retail isn't a massive priority but he's definitely open to it at some point. Also is it not possible to out right purchase a domain name?
