[Junghans max bill Regulator] 2024 release at WUWF

I spotted this watch at Wind Up Watch Fair in San Francisco last weekend. I absolutely love the design and 40mm case; the silver face really pops in sunlight, too!

Has anyone had any experience with this watch or previous Regulator releases? $2,500 seems steep for this model… What am I missing here?
