Brand new to Warhammer via Secret Level’s Warhammer episode…is there more content like this??

Mostly the title, but I watched this episode and it’s pretty awesome from world, to fights, to plot and characters. I know Warhammer started as a tabletop game, but are the books worth getting into? Should I wait for Amazon/Henry Cavil’s adaptation?
