Can't tell if this kitbash would look silly

Looking for a second opinion, I really want my captain to have a power fist to be more imperial-fist, but I can't tell if it looks silly for him to be holding onto his sword WITH a power fist (basically cutting off his whole arm and replacing it with the power fist bit). Alternatively, I was thinking of replacing the hilt of the sword to one without a hand, then putting the power fist on in kind of a fist-pump pose (hopefully pictures do it justice). Any feedback is appreciated, I haven't done a ton of kitbashing experience and would reallllllllly like a second opinion before I chop up a $40 mini
