Current Thoughts on 2024 WWE Prizm - Community Thoughts?

So we're almost a week from the First off the Line release to today and there has been a TON of Prizm opened, so it might be time to have some discussion on the product and how people feel about it.

I have a lot of thoughts on this, but in general:

  • Cards look great - design wise, quality wise, etc. - these are very collectible good looking cards that in many cases represent the "best" card of their wrestler. A few of them (Cody, Isla) may also pass the "cool" test of time.
  • I think they did a good job adding more common and more collectible parallels in both First Off the Line and Hobby that give card collectors some fun cards to get and be happy with.
  • The issue of being "Panini'd" by missing hits or bad boxes is still very much alive and be wary of dropping $250 on a box that you could walk away with nothing
  • Collation at a case level is beyond effed and people should be SUPER cautious on this as you can buy a case and not complete a set, and not get anything but an insert or base for most of the checklist. Case Breaking is very different as a proposition for Prizm than it is for past products given that reality.
