Should I take the CompTia 1001 or 1101?

Hey all,

I’ve been grinding at this 1001 for about 8 weeks and have failed my first attempt with a 599 and I just failed the second attempt with a 655. A passing score is 675.

My mentor is suggesting to switch to the 1101 so I don’t have to rush the deadline of October 1. I’ve read all the differences between the 1001 and 1101 and saw what Prof. Messer mentions regarding the additional content added. However, I’m not sure since I am so close to passing if I should switch gears and focus on new material, or if I should keep chipping away and go for a retake of 1001 in a couple weeks.

What would you do?
