Gen Engineering 1st year credits

So apparently we have to take Chem and physics first year. I am gonna enroll in NOVa community college classes this summer for Chem 111 and physics 231 to skip that requirement. But I was also reading on the natural sciences requirement we need 12 credit hours in addition to chem and physics. What other natural sciences is there left to take though? I'm wondering if I misinterpreted what it said.
