Credits

I want to avoid taking a history class at tech. I got into the college of engineering so it doesn't matter for my major. I got a 3 on my US history ap exam. Also, I'm getting credits for Dual Enrollment Government PLS 211 (and another class but forgot number). So I receive 6 credits from that. Does this mean I can skip history at tech cause I really really don't want to take it.
