VAWA Combo Card Expedite Approved in 6 Weeks

Now that I have my card in hand (took about a month after approval) I’m ready to post my journey.

June 14th - Filed I-765, I-131, I-360, I-485

July 15th - Received receipt notices

July 16th - Requested Expedite for I-765 from congressman’s

August 1st - Expedite request approved

August 2nd - Received notice for Biometric Appt

August 12th - Biometric Appointment

August 26th - Received Prima Facie

August 28th - Combo Card Approved & I-485 transferred

September 3rd - Received approval notices by mail

September 27th - Combo card had not arrived, emailed congressman for updates.

September 30th - Congressman emails USCIS liaison. There was a technicality that held up production. The card was produced the same day.

October 2nd - Card Came in the Mail!!

From filing to card in hand about 3 1/2 months.
