New Utah registration stickers are a step back

The new vs the old (which was the style for 25+ years). The “updated” stickers are both smaller and harder to read!

At this point, why not just do away with the stickers altogether, like so many other states have?

This (combined with the thinner and blockier font used on Utah plates for the last couple of years) makes it seem like someone in the legislature really just wants to make things harder for law enforcement…
