What I Loved About You
I know I eventually will have to move on from you, but thank you for raising my standards by being such an amazing, radiant, alive, person.
I love your sense of humor, your sparkling eyes that almost seem to dance when you are happy, the way you light up when you smile, your amazing heart which has so much love in it, how communicative and expressive you are about your emotions, your goofy long story telling, your intelligence, your passion for the world and travel, your store of random fun facts, your love for cooking, your delicious and creative cooking, your eyelashes, your soft hair, the way you always got goosebumps when I kissed your ear, your ability to put a smile on my face no matter how bad of a day I had, how comforting and big your hands are, your drawing skills, the way you couldn’t keep secrets, eating cheese and drinking wine with you, the way you wouldn’t let me open the car door, holding your hand while you drove and squeezing it tight, the way the corners of your eyes crinkle when you smile, all the dog videos you would send, how good you are with kids, how excited you were to be a father someday. I even miss your stinky farts and how you would laugh while I suffered.
I hope that you are doing okay and someday will be happy. I wish you all the best. I am so sorry for not listening to you and treating you how you deserved. Someday you are going to make someone so happy.
With love always, Me
