Newly engaged but no ring?

I noticed in RR's latest live that she didn't have her engagement ring on. I don't know if she addressed it later in the live because I could only watch the first little bit, but it seems odd to me that someone newly engaged would not wear their ring. When I was newly engaged I NEVER took of my ring, even to shower. Just an observation.
