What happens if you don't reach the word count?

I know that at my uni marks are deducted for every 10% over the word count, but can't seem to find any information regarding being below the limit. 3000 word political philosophy essay. Done around 2600 and just want it done. Don't massively care to get a good grade at this point, just want to enjoy my holiday. Thinking I can maybe get to 2750 or so? What happens?
