Spouse visa

Hey everyone, I am from India and married to a US citizen . We completed the I 130 form and applied for a spouse visa on March 2024, approximate time for case decision was said to be 14 months. Then the timeline got reduced and reduced and later. It got stuck at three weeks. In the due time we applied for a tourist visa because we are tired of waiting and just wanted to have another option and recently the timeline has increased back to 12 months and currently it is at nine months.

You’re only supposed to start questioning the visa process until after 14 months of applying, which will be this May, and according to timeline, another nine months will definitely surpass the 14 month timeline that was initially given to us .

Is there any way we could expedite the process or have an appeal to speed up the process?

Also, Any advice on my upcoming tourist visa interview on February 6, 2025. We know it is a slim chance to get it approved, but we still wanted to give it a try.
