PO Box Billing Cycle

Reserving a personal mailbox with street address from USPS online, does anyone know if the six month billing cycle starts from the date of online reservation, or, from the date I activate it at the post office with the ID proofs, etc.?

I need the PO Box for exactly 6months starting late October, so the billing cycle date is important.
