Pre-completion OPT. With remaining CPT.

If someone has used pre-completion OPT because the internship was longer than the remaining CPT, but they still have some remaining CPT, would they be allowed to use the remaining CPT before deducting from OPT through pre-completion OPT?

Have you anyone experienced this?
