Advice on Traveling

Hi, I filled my I-751 last week after my first petition was rejected due to wrong fee. I have travel plans and will be coming back to US 10 days before my greencard expires. Do you guys think it’s safe to re-enter with a greencard that is about to expire? Thank you all.
