Fellow IItians etc , who are fairly good at math , what optional have you taken . Why did you take/not take math as your optional (any reasons pls)?

i got around 50-60 in math jee advance but i have very less knowledge about differentiations/integrations and im half decent at engineering math stuff as i am from cse branch .

im very scared to take this as none of my friends dared to do so and only ppl who are very confident would end up taking , so the average person would be far more decent than in the other optionals where you could get some cusioning with the amount of average ppl who take them

ive seen the paper it was moderately hard but the good thing was i suppose we only have to attempt 60-70% questions and in that half marks would be a decent score so i suppose ~30% solving would be enough which im fairly confident i can do given enough practice.
