9 month update - my big fat bragathon

It's exactly nine months since I started this journey, although still plenty more to go. But today I finally reached my FIVE STONE weight loss milestone; it's been tantalisingly close for a while.

This week has also been the first time someone asked me if I'd lost weight. This was at a weekly coffee morning I've been attending since May. (Even though I know people are more careful about asking someone about weight loss these days, I'd been a bit down that it hadn't seemed that noticeable.) So when I said yes and I'd lost 5 stone I got an actual jaw drop 😱 I'm adding that to my "bottle that moment" collection.

We ended up having a lovely discussion about MJ, the lady who asked knows others on it, and the group were really interested and understanding. I really really enjoyed the IRL positivity.

I've included a few comparisons, I even found a fat hand picture!! I've also decided not to cover up anymore. When my cheek bones finally appear I'll want to brag about them too 🤣 (Not so much the turkey neck 🦃)

Every journey is unique and they should all be inspiring. Some of us are getting there slowly, some more quickly, some perhaps yet to get going, and lots are now in maintenance. But it's not a competition, don't compare, remember we're all in this together. But I do think a bit of celebration (or an occasional brag) is allowed from time to time 🥳

I'll shut up now ❤️
