uci rejection appeal

uci is my absolute dream school (close to home and in state tuition) and i was rejected twice (out of high school and as a transfer last year) was wondering if anyone knew it’d be worth it to appeal or go to cornell instead? (pricey, cold, don’t know much about the east coast) thanks!
