Optimizing my SIB Cashback & ENBD Duo Credit Cards
Hello guys,
As we sometimes might not know which spendings would fall under a what category at a merchant, I would like to see if the below credit cards use would be the most optimal. Following the below, I should already reach the 300 AED cashback cap with SIB if the cashback 10% is well applied.
- Please consider that all the spent using SIB would be done either online, either with the merchant app or using Apple Pay in store directly with the merchant.
- Please consider that all the spent using ENBD Duo would be done either online, either with the merchant app or in store directly with the merchant (especially for the groceries or fuel).
Merchant | Card to use | Rewards |
---|---|---|
RTA | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
Du/Etisalat | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
DEWA | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
Gas | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
Fuel | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
Groceries (Spinneys/Carrefour) | ENBD Duo | 5% in Plus Points |
Amazon/Temu | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Restaurants | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Deliveroo/Talabat | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Taxi/Careem | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Electronics (Apple/Sharaf/Virgin) | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Hospitals & Medications | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Retail Shop (Clothing/Stationary) | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
Cinema | SIB Cashback | 10% - with cap |
International Spends Abroad | SIB Cashback | 2% - no cap |
Flight Tickets | Marriott Bonvoy | MB Points |
Hotels (including 3rd parties) | Marriott Bonvoy | MB Points |
I have just received my ENBD Duo card today - and should receive the SIB card next week. I already have the Marriott Bonvoy card though.
Let me know if there any of those listed categories are falling under the "wrong" credit card.
Thank you guys :)
