I plan to buy dry and wet food as it last 6-12 months and 2-5 years respectively when stored in airtight containers in cool places since they eat special diet food for health reasons.

I would also recommend looking into meds your pets need. Other items like cat litter I'm not prioritizing due to budget, but another thing to consider.
