A little bit serious: New annoyances that have cropped up from the modern media landscape

I follow a fair number of watch along podcasts and something that’s come up a fair number times is how streaming services has ignited the argument about TRUE episode orders. Not only is there production order vs air date, but now we have to deal with things like how the internet lists episode order or how various streaming services have them listed, which can often be different as well.

And of course we have issues with show rights being bought and sold around, meaning you can lose access to what you want in the middle of a watch or shows can just be in limbo where there’s no legal way to watch them at all.
