The Attitude Shown Towards The Victims in the Palisades Fires Prove the “Eat The Rich” Types Won’t Stop At Billionaires If Given Their Way
Everyone who supports policies that want to “tax the rich” and those who support the actions of Luigi Mangione are all very adamant when confronted they only have a problem with billionaires. They state regular wealthy people, and people who are only millionaires are not the ones they want to go after, so those that are poor now who hope to be successful later on should not have a problem with their worldview. However, all you have to do is look at how most of those same people treat the victims of the Palisades Fires, and you know that is not the case.
There are a bunch of people who lost everything in the California fires that are not billionaires. Most are varying degrees of financially successful, and sure, a lot of those homes were worth north of $1 million due to where they were located. Some of those homes have been in their families for decades and gained that equity over time. It’s not like they had the equity of their homes liquidated to spend on everything. Those homes were likely the vast majority Yet they are shown little to no sympathy by those who hate the rich. Some even celebrate their losses.
People who support “Eat the Rich” type policies believe that you cannot be a good person unless you are struggling to pay your bills, and don’t have enough to do anything extra. They want to limit wealth, not poverty. They don’t care how many people struggle in poverty, they only care about limiting those who don’t.
