Workers that have never started a business and complain about small businesses are increasingly entitled.

Lowkey directed at a recent post of a kid rambling about how small business owners are entitled.

I think yes maybe some of them, but I would say 90% of small business owners I know are incredibly hard working people and are absolutely not entitled people at all.

They work 24/7 with massive stress while providing for their own family and also their workers family in compensation. As to business practice on how much you pay your employees, that is different between owners and philosophies.

I believe in paying your workers their fair wage, taking care of their families and giving benefits where needed and where you can. However a fair wage is relative. I would go as far as to say that the majority of Americans have a spending problem, and that’s not to say we don’t hav economical issues like wages stagnant and everything else is inflated, but that for people with money problems, they will have money problems regardless of how much money you give them because they only spend their money on liabilities and not assets.

The only entitled people are workers who think that every business they work for, owes them everything. But these kind of people are the people I’d never hire because the entitlement can’t be fixed. Everything is someone else’s problem and never theirs, they only cause problems in their own world and in other people’s worlds. No amount of compensation would make them happy other than a 6 figure salary for little to no work at all.

I agree, the world is going to shits, the rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer everywhere you look. In communist countries, in dictatorships and in democracies. Healthcare isn’t as accessible in the states, expensive and ran by shitty people. But I can assure you that Small business owners are the least of your problems, most are just happy to survive doing what they enjoy doing, whether that’s a restaurant, small home goods shop or whatever. Of course there are assholes, but you attract the kind of people that match who you are.
