The claim that leftists are NPC’s is somewhat true.

For the uninitiated, the term “NPC” is derived from the gaming industry and stands for non-player character. The meme was first coined in around 2016, as a representation of individuals who don’t think for themselves and lack introspection. Simply following the beliefs of others and whatever is deemed “socially acceptable”. Later iterations of the meme were created specifically to mock leftist/woke culture, with the introduction of the “I support the current thing” meme later that year. Now the reason I feel this meme is so relevant is that it never ceases to be true. We have seen the left switch from Ukraine to Palestine in a heartbeat, after they realized the potential for social acceptance/clout was far greater provided they virtue signal about Palestine from now on.

I recently heard about companies like Ben and Jerrys, lush etc... looking to capitalize on the pro-Palestine bandwagon, and yet apparently leftists cannot spot that this is nothing more than a shameless marketing ploy. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next AI revolution was a bot that analyzed vast amounts of data to find the most socially acceptable stance on every conceivable issue, allowing companies to pander to the largest possible user base when advertising.
