Stand up comedy is dead

I saw Mike Redbar say this on a clip and it is a pretty interesting discussion point (I hope lol)

To qualify, I know that it's one of the biggest parts of the entertainment industry in the USA and that it's bigger than it's ever been, so this may just be me, but there just don't seem to be any good news specials or new comedians. Or jokes.

It may just be me aging. I don't think that I have found anything that blew me away since Norm Macdonald had his revival around 2016 and that was podcasting (although he just pretended it was a really bad talk show, because of course he did)

The famous ones all seem to be podcasters who do comedy. The alligator has eaten it's own tail
