Apartment recommendations?

Hi I'll be moving from NYC to work in downtown Albany. After some research I feel like Troy is a fitting city to live with my budget of $1300 for rent. If anyone has some apartment building recommendations I'd love to hear them. A 1BR would be preferable but I'm open to studios if the amenities / location make up for it.

Right now I'm looking at the Troy Garden apartments, and The Overlook if anyone has any information regarding these two places.

I'm a single young guy and have never moved from home but I just assume a apartment building would be preferable as it seems like less things to worry about compared to renting from a landlord? I've never done this before so I'm open to any advice regarding relocating, thank you.
