Disturbing Interaction with IDK in Kennewick

So my fiance and I ate at IDK in Kennewick earlier this week. I had pasta containing shrimp (I have no food allergies and no sensitivities), and within hours of eating there became so sick that I was vomiting and even had a little blood come up. Went to the er, got treated, all was good.

My fiance called to let them know, so they could look into it since their food was the only thing out of the ordinary we had eaten recently. Owner blatantly said it couldn't be from them and proceeded to tell my fiance, who has spent years working culinary jobs, false information about food borne illness.

We reported the incident to the health department after this, just to be safe so no one else would hopefully get sick.

My fiance then left a Google review about the recent experience. IDK called him this morning threatening to sue if the review wasn't removed and claiming they had never failed an inspection (I checked with the Health Department, and they failed two this year).

Just my humble opinion, but I certainly won't be giving my money to a business that thinks it is okay to threaten customers who had a bad experience with them.
