Questions about GPA and transfer

Hi guys,

I am a freshman international student and want to transfer from my current UC to another UC/institution. Out of my current 93 units in college (including this summer semester’s courses), 36 units are from high school, and 57 units are from college courses. Will the college I’m transferring to look at my high school transcript in this case? My high school transcript is somewhat mediocre to be honest.

Secondly, until what semester does the UC transfer office and other college transfer offices consider the cumulative GPA for? Is it only for the first-year, or do they also consider the fall and winter of the second year. Do they accept the units gained and cumulative GPA from the summer courses during the first year?

Additionally, I will not have my GEs completed by the transfer deadline but will definitely have them done by the end of the second year. How will the UCs admission staff feel about that?
