Jon Snow - Game of Thrones: He's murdered by his brothers in the Night Watch but is brought back to life by the witch Melisandre.

Commander Shepard - Mass Effect: They die in a ship explosion only to be brought back to life by the human supremacist group Cerberus.

Gertrude - I Hate Fairyland: She's mere steps away from finally escaping Fairyland after being trapped there for decades only to trip on a rock & impale herself into a lollipop that skewers her brain. She's brought back from hell because her strength is needed to defeat a greater evil that will destroy Fairyland.

Skoodge - Invader Zim: He was killed by the Tallest after succesfully conquering his assigned planet. He got better.

Letty - The Fast and the Furious: She was killed by a fellow undercover cop who betrayed her but actually she totally didn't die because reasons.

Buck - Ice Age: Sadly yes, he died. But then he lived!

Sherlock Holmes: He & his nemesis Moriarty fell off of a waterfall together, finally ending the great detective's adventures. Until he totally didn't die because of the bitching & whining of fans. Also because Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was running out of money.

Superman: He was killed by Doomsday in a fight, causing his father to die of a heart attack & 4 "imposters" who subsequently tried to fill that massive hole he left behind. Except he got ressurected shortly after because of course DC would never kill their most popular character.
