Are people really that surprised about ch. 240 leaks?

So after scanning some comments and posts about ch. 240 leaks that Senju and Haruchiyo were childhood friends along with Mikey and Baji some folks has expressed being surprised and confused about the revelation . Which I don’t understand at all.

First, ever since it’s been revealed that Senju’s older brother is Takeomi and that he was childhood friends with Shinichiro and a founding member of the black dragon it should’ve been obvious to everyone reading that the likelihood of Senju and Haruchiyo knowing Mikey for a long time was high.

Plus Haruchiyo not using honorifics when addressing Mikey, knowing about Mikey and Baji’s being childhood friends , and his obsessive loyalty towards him were also strong hints.

I even saw some posts that the fact that this wasn’t addressed in early arcs that this now provides a lot of plot holes. First, no one has read the chapter because it has not been released yet so accusing Wakui for providing plot holes without reading the chapter themselves is ridiculous. Of course this does gives us alot of questions that I’m sure Wakui has answers too.

I just wish some would stop overreacting to spoilers and just wait until the chapter release. And with this being a weekly chapter not all questions will be answered.

Anyway can’t wait to read ch. 240.
