Serious questions about opening and owning a (Tiki) bar, from a tiki dreamer.

I'm assuming there are at least a couple tikiphiles on this sub, who, on the down low, are owners or managers or bartenders of some of our favorite spots. I'm not asking you to identify yourselves or anything like that, but I would love to get some insight into what goes into opening a bar, how much it costs, what the process is like, etc.

Owning/working in a tiki bar is a passionate dream of mine, and I'd really like to take steps towards making this dream a reality!

Side note: why the hell are there no tiki bars between Sacramento and Bakersfield, Cali yet? Fresno, Ca is prime real estate! Turlock, Ca also.
