Help With Thief Gold To Dark

Hello,

I recently purchased Thief Gold on steam and after watching a few YouTube videos, was greatly recommended that I installed Tfixes and GoldToDark mods to enhance the Thief experience.

The problem is that I am currently having trouble with is Dark.bnd since every time I run "GoldToDark - version 2014-08-02B" it says that Dark.bnd has failed a check and the game crashs every time I start it.

I got it to work previously by verifying file integrity and booting up Thief Gold directly from Steam and then copying the updated game files over to the separate copy of Thief that would work with mods (as to not disrupt the vanilla game).

This way, I was able to run the base game but not with the Dark Project mod and the Tfixes.

I've scoured YouTube videos and forums from over a decade ago and still haven't found a solution.

Any help would be appreciated.
