No Recipe Roadtrip vs. Phoning It In
So I watched the past coupla Phoning It In videos with Zach and Keith being "controlled' by two pro-chefs over the phone.
Don't get me wrong--I like Without a Recipe and enjoy that some version of that got picked up for an actual TV show, but so far Phoning It In has been wildly hilarious and entertaining for me. (Zach's eclairs caused me to laugh harder than I've laughed in a long time!)
I would have loved this Phoning It In as a TV show way better than the whole Without A Recipe/No Recipe Roadtrip thing. It's just wackier and I enjoy the presence of professional chefs a lot. The energy is different in a good way for me. Plus Keith and Zach have been growing A LOT on me lately--even if one isn't available for some reason you can easily sub in another TryGuy or a guest like Kwesi.
(Note: Yeah I'm aware of the Ned scandal stuff, and I'm sort of simply waiting for an official statement and avoiding speculation. Already a flood of threads on it so I hope this thread that's not about that stuff isn't unwelcome? I know people wanna talk about that a lot and I totally get it and support that, I just wanted to talk about Phoning It In today too...)
