Degradation
Hey everyone! I have a 2023 Model Y LR with 30k miles. I only charge to 60-80%, 95% charging at home, only to see my battery degrade over 10% in one year and it doesn’t appear the degradation is slowing down. Almost every time I charge my car the range goes a little lower and the degradation goes up. Is my battery kaput? I see people with older vehicles with 5-8% loss. Knew my vehicle would charge to 328 miles new. Now it’s well under 300. I can’t imagine having an ice vehicle for a year only to have its range and capacity shrink it just over a year.
